A Frenchs Forest Catholic Parish Primary School

As a Frenchs Forest Catholic Parish primary school, we enjoy a strong relationship with the parish churches. St Martin de Porres Catholic Church is our community church and offers regular opportunities for St Martin’s students and families to participate in church life.

In monthly Family Mass, children are invited to serve in ministries including reading, singing and welcoming parishioners. Many of our parents have parish ministries as readers, altar servers, musicians and communion ministers.

The school and parish work together to fundraise for, and increase awareness of, social justice causes.

The Sacramental program is parish based and is supported with specific units in the school curriculum.

The Parish runs a Senior Primary Youth Group for students in years 5 – 7. The ‘Prime’ group meets every second Friday of the month, during term time, at the Parish Centre at OLGC Forestville from 6-7.30pm. Children are welcome to come along for games and pizza during these sessions.
